Spangled Old English Game Bantam

The Spangled Old English Game Bantam plumage color is a combination of dark red and black feathers. Each feather ends with a small V-shape white tip. On the red feathers, a narrow black bar divides the spangle from the rest of the web.

Old English Game Bantams come in more color varieties than any other breed, and therefore make up one of the largest classes at poultry shows. The Spangled variety was admitted to the American Poultry Association Standard of Perfection in 1925.

These flashy little birds also make excellent pets that require little by way of feed and living space. They are friendly with people, and small enough for a child to handle. You are sure to fall in love with the perky and self-assured Spangled Old English Game Bantam.
