Apple cider vinegar is full of antibiotic properties. The main substance in vinegar, acetic acid can kill bacteria and/or prevent them from multiplying and reaching harmful levels. It is also thought that apple cider vinegar can increase the body’s absorption of important minerals from the food eaten. It is a good home remedy for the maintenance of a healthy chicken.
For the treatment of coccidiosis: Mix 1/4 tsp per 1 gallon of water for stock solution. Mix 1/3 cup stock solution with one quart (32 oz) water
NOTE: We feel Bragg’s Organic Raw Unfiltered w/The Mother bottle version is better than this dry form if you can purchase it locally.
For Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar mix 1/3 cup with one quart of water and make fresh every 7 days.
