This adventurous choice is perfect for someone that either has difficulty selecting a specific breed or that simply enjoys the surprise of a non selected baby chick. When a random chick is sent with an order, there is no record of the chosen bird, so it is up to the owner to research the possibilities or simply love it for the wonderful pet that it is.

About Your Ship Date:

We will email a ship date to you within 5 days of placing your order. Your chicks will arrive 1 to 3 days after that ship date. You should receive a phone call from your local post office upon delivery and we recommend you pick them up immediately upon notification.

Please note the requested month to ship is subject to change based on availability.

Live Chick Guarantee

We guarantee your ordered number of birds arrive healthy and true to breed. Please contact us immediately should any losses or variances to your order occur, this guarantee is only for the safe and live delivery of your poultry. Any loss must be reported to Chickens for Backyards within 24 hours of receipt. Reimbursements are limited to the cost of the birds and do not include shipping charges.

Cancellations 

A minimum of 48 hours notice before your ship date must be given to cancel order.
