The Barred Cochin Bantam chicken breed makes a great choice for a chicken pet because of its gentleness and calmness. They are the miniature size of the standard size barred Cochin chicken breed and make an excellent choice for chickens for backyards or small chicken house. The females (hens or pullets) make great mothers to baby chicks and are good broody hens for setting on eggs to hatch them out. Our Cochin bantams are from some good show stock and should show well at poultry shows. These baby chicks for sale are good quality poultry that you will be proud to show.

We guarantee your ordered number of birds arrive healthy and true to breed. Please contact us immediately should any losses or variances to your order occur, this guarantee is only for the safe and live delivery of your poultry. Any loss must be reported to Chickens for Backyards within 3 days of receipt for any adjustment to be made. Reshipments are subject to availability and minimum shipping requirements. If eligible, we will reship only once. Reimbursements are limited to the cost of the birds and will not include shipping charges.
