  • Return Policy

  • All returns require pre-authorization and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. No products may be returned after 30 days. 

    We guarantee 100% live delivery of all chicks paid for. Examine all birds at the time of delivery and immediately report any loss to the delivering carrier and fill out the proper forms. Report your claim to Chickens for Backyards within 48 hours, and we will make every effort to replace your loss. However, certain circumstances would require a refund or credit for losses where quantities are too small to ship or if we believe for any reason a second shipment may have similar results. The guarantee will never exceed the original purchase price. Replacements are limited to one attempt only and subject to availability. Chickens for Backyards will not knowingly ship any birds or products in violation of the Animal Welfare Act or any other Federal, State, or Local laws or ordinances.
